Manufacturing Sales Engineer
Excellent opportunity for an experienced sales individual with a strong sales background in CNC machining centers, CNC single and multi-spindle lathes or CNC transfer machines. Sales professionals seeking a commodity machine sales position need not apply.
Our Company sells and services unique turnkey metal cutting manufacturing solutions to some of the most respected names in manufacturing in North America. Individual must be a proven achiever with a history of providing customers with the highest level of technical and professional support that is expected with engineered solutions ranging in value from $200,000 to $3,000,000.
The following skills and personal attributes are required:
- Graduate manufacturing engineer or equivalent experience;
- 3+ years experience in manufacturing processes, application or time study engineering
- 3+ years of successful key account or regional selling experience
- Computer competence including working experience with project software, Excel spreadsheet, contact software and Power Point;
- AutoCAD or similar experience a plus;
- Experience with cutting tool geometries and cutting tool selection for manufacturing processes;
- Excellent blueprint reading skills and working knowledge in geometric tolerancing and statistical process control;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Excellent presentation skills;
- Ability to multi-task with excellent organizational skills;
- Foreign language skills in German, Italian or French a plus.
This position will require occasional travel to customer and representative facilities throughout North America with occasional travel to our principal factories located in Germany, Switzerland, France and Italy. Field Service Technician - CNC Machine Tools
Join an established company with challenging and diverse machine tool service responsibilities. This team leader service position requires that you possess:
- Proven experience in installing, repairing, trouble shooting, maintaining and servicing CNC lathes and machining centers.
- 3+ years working in a machine repair and manufacturing environment;
- Ability to train our customers on the use and maintenance of our equipment
- Reasonable experience with cutting tool geometries and cutting tool selection for manufacturing processes;
- Experience with servicing spindles, slides, hydraulics and pneumatics;
- Experience with CNC controls (Fanuc and Siemens 840D a plus);
- Excellent trouble shooting skills;
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well with others;
- Experience with transfer machines a plus but not a requirement.
This position will require occasional overnight travel to our customer's facilities throughout North America and occasional short trips to our European factories for training and run-offs.
